Need help with G37 brake upgrade....

there is no logic or data to hold up to his assumption, its different but as i said the big difference is in the abs module which also acts as the prop valve...prop valve is your biggest concern with brake bias, the master cylinders are probably different on the G37 to a G35 but could be just mounting points and such and how it mounts to the booster, cylinder size and line size is probably the same, i have not taken measurements on this or even looked into it though but i would be glad to measure them for you if you wish.

Fair enough, but then how much is known about the proportioning done by the different ABS modules?

I don't think the oem brake dist feature can be viewed as a proportioning valve. I do believe the oem has a preset frt/rear bias calculated in. One needs to see if the bias in the older Gs are about the same as the new Gs. If it's close, it will probably work.

Having the master cylinder bore dimension of the old/new G would help us all.

Agreed. I just don't know if they are about the same. If they are, great. Then you'll just have the increased unsprung weight to think about.
