you cant turn or adjust the factory cam bolts? I always thought that was the point of having the cam bolts on there was so they can be tweaked if needed. why wouldnt they just make it a solid mount with a bushing then.... hmmmm

The ONLY adjustment on the car is toe. From the factory, that is.

EDIT: I stand corrected! Please see pages 5 & 6

thats what I thought, my rx8 was set up the same way and after I lowered it 1.5" I was able to get it almost back to stock specs by having a alignment shop adjust the stock cam bolts

SO you are saying that after lowering his car, he can adjust his camber back to stock spec without an aftermarket camber kit?

In the rear, there can be some camber adjustment with OEM bolts, up front, zero without and aftermarket kit. I bet you'll go lower eventually with coils so just get the aftermarket kit now

noooo..you said: "they are TOTALLY adjustable"

I understand that I was wrong to say that they are not adjustable, but that is better than making this guy think that he is going to be able to correct the camber back to OEM spec after dropping it.

Symantics, I guess

How does totally mean that they are adjustable to stock specs? I NEVER said that. I used totally in the context of being the opposite of your statement that they are not adjustable at all. Not as a quantifier of how adjustable they are.

^ I know that but a guy who doesnt want to spend more money on a camber kit might want to take it differently.

We just read to make it clear so the OP doesnt have false expectations

I'm not lowered and my shop can't even get the car within spec. Close, but not within. Ordered SPC rear to correct. Were they lying?
