Noise under braking and cornering

I have a 2007 g35 coupe 6mt w/35k on it. When I brake or go around a left hand corner im getting this metal on metal screeching noise. Im pretty sure that its my brakes. But its wierd that it does it around left corners. any ideas??

if cornering left, there is a tendancy for object to "go right". the squeal indicator on the brake pad sits i think on the side away from the wheel (inboard pad?). Anyhow if the noise is coming from the right front wheel then it would make sense if the pad was a little loose in the holder. also the suspension loads on the right and unloads on the left - this might be a different noise. is the noise the exact same?

anyhow as the others said, change the pads and if the noise persists then there is something else wrong. just tell whomever replaces ur brakes to check for loose suspension parts while their down there.

no matter what i would pull all 4 wheel and inspect each rotor and pads... you don't wanna mess anything up or total your car by having your brakes fail....better to be safe than sorry nah mean..

Well I brought the car to the dealer today. I don't do any of my own work till my car is out of warranty. It just doesn't make sense. But it is my rear brakes. There going to re-surface them and put new pads on.
