Tein Basic or BC Racing Coilovers??

Hey Everybody!

It seems very difficult to find any information about BC racing coilovers. Unfortunately, the search function does not search up two letters (BC)!

Both BC Racing and Tein Basics are within my budget, but I can't decide which is better? I know that Tein's are more popular and they have good reviews, but I also heard that BC Racing are just as good, if not, better than the Tein's.

Anyone have any advice for me? I am looking for coilovers that are best for daily driving, and close to a luxurious ride.

BC racing coilovers are sweet. I have a couple friends running them on their 350z's and they love them.

i have bc racing coilovers and i slammed the **** out of them, the rear maxed and the front well has more to go, but there are a lot of options for the rear.. ie take off 1 ring and get shorter springs, 180mm instead of 200mm, so if ur looking to slam ur **** on a budget bc racing is the way to go, but a lil secret.. shh dont tell no1, if u can afford bc racing n teins, save like 100-200 more and get function and forms which are FAR superior to both

^exactly

BC have dampening control which the Tein's don't
BC Has independent Spring preload which the Tein's does not

If you change the height on the Tein's your also changing the preload

For a couple of $$$ more i would prefer the BC's.
I had Tein Basics before I had BC so I know the Difference

Generally Teins suck for this car, across the board. The basics aren't even real coilovers, and are much more like a simple replacement of springs and shocks. They don't provide the adjustability of BC's, or the ability to customize the spring rates.

Do some research.

Funny thing is that I don't even intend to slam my car. I'm planning to just lower it a tad just to sweeten up the wheel gap. Sounds like BC Racing across the board here, I might just get them!

I think chord42 is running BC coils look at his recent photo shoot to get an idea of what they look like. Although his car doesn't sit that low yet he said he was going to lower it more.
