Control arm bushing bad?

So I was putting in my K&N typhoon today, and putting everything back together I noticed the ctrl arm bushing, the rubber part, was like compressed, like sucked in. I just got this thing, so I dont know the car all that well, but I know on my audi, new ctrl arms didnt look like that, they were like full of grease, as far as driving, it seems fine, no knocking up front, its tight..... BOTH sides are like this, the car has 50k on it. Any ideas?
TIA
J
Anyone have a picture of what a good or new ones looks like?

Rubber bushings have a limited life [exact durometer hardness] depending on local temperatures and ozone % in air.
If you desire as new you must constantly replace rubber isolators and bushings just as you do with tires, belts, etc.

Most people don't understand and skip until they become noisey or worse.

Why rubber components are considered wear and tear and not covered under warranty.

Historically these components seem to last until 70-100k.
