I ordered the GT-Spec strut bar, but was told today by the vendor that it won't fit with the Tein EDFC that I have coming. I guess the servos add to much height/diameter to allow for proper fitment. So does anyone know of a strut bar that will fit with this setup?

I had the Tein CS and Richie's strut bar. It had tons of room because the EDFC motors sat down inside the top cup on the coils.

I think it is called the NRG bar now. I believe they purchased the design from him. Sorry, don't have a link handy.

Seems like many members are having fitment issues with this bar.

Not sure on that situation, mine fits very well and I have had it for years now. There have been a ton of these sold.

Do y ou have any pics of it installed in your car? Also, will it clear if I have a 5/16 spacer installed?

I've got the Ritchie strut bar (version 1), Tein CS with EDFC and the 5/16 spacer.
It all fits but it does rub the hood liner because I decided to keep the engine cover on.

Does it just rub the liner or does it actually push into the hood? Is it adjustable so that if you remove the engine cover you could lower it enough to not rub the liner?

It just rubs the liner. Scuff marks are visible on the liner but it doesn't push up on the hood.
The strut bar is adjustable in height and I could adjust it a little lower, about 1/2 inch more, if I wanted.

Any other suggestions? I was thinking about going with the NRG, but was told today by a vendor that NRG says it won't fit with the EDFC.

Sorry, don't have pics. I have the Stillen with the 5/16 spacer and edfc. Work like a charm.

On the left side you can see the Green of the Tein coilovers, with the black being the EDFC.

Thanks for the pics. Do you think it will fit with the engine cover on? Otherwise I'll have to invest in some polished goodies.
