I know most people who have slammed cars drop 2-3" or more don't get alignments because they can't get their cars on the alignment rack, and they don't care for camber kits because how else would you adjust it without getting on the rack.

Anyone here with a slammed car that has camber kits, and an alignment done? If so how did you manage to drive it up the rack? Mine is not slammed but it is pretty low with full kit and yet i can barely make it up the rack without scraping or touching my body kit. Looks like it will crack.

Out here (Northern California) there are a few shops that cater to aggressively lowered cars using underground bays or special extentions on their lifts to get under the car and gradually get them on the rack.

Move to Norcal? jk

Assuming people don't get alignments because they're too low is kind of crazy haha. There are alignment shops that can get lowered cars on their racks. Additionally, there are shops that have pits, where the rack is level with the ground. So even if you have like one inch of ground clearance you could still get on the rack. The technician just goes down below the car.

I lowered my car 2 inches, took it to meineke, they got it on there ramps without scraping. I also put new camber kits on it. Stationed in WA state right now.

Most cars 2-3inch dropped do run camberkits all around so they can dial in fitment..

Just a 2-3in drop should be able to be aligned easily. Like others have said, underground pit or use 2x4's to get on/off the rack.

Like others have said there are shops that do almost exclusively lowered cars. I'm in mn and there is two that I know of. Ask around.

Well, maybe back in 2009, when this originated, nobody did alignments nor camber kits. Perhaps that was a time when we just cut our springs. lol.

I purchased some toe plates for my drift car and I now do my own alignments. Check these out:

Reviving this thread yet again. Here's what I have:

'06 6MT coupe with Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers and SPL front and rear camber kit. I believe the camber kit is an earlier version. I was wondering if there's a way to get my car aligned and be slammed (not claiming to be slammed btw). This is an old pic (without the camber kit) and I have had to raise the car in order to get it aligned but am missing the lowness. So is there a mod or something that can be done in order to get it aligned while remaining low? And my SPL kit is currently maxed out on toe; I had to raise the car to correct the toe. Thanks.
