Its worth the drive. He will take you around the lot and nothin but wrecked g's and 350s and parts everywhere. He rebuilds and sells them as well. I don't think he ships, if you look up Turbo Toys give him a call and leave a message if no answer. They will call you back in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, the front end is still creaking and I think its a mixture of the lowering spring binding and I need new shocks/struts whichever they are lol. At least I have new ball joints and bushings

Buy the energy suspension bushing kit from z1 motorsports. Be ready to have a vice and lots of lube b/c of the taper in the bushing slots..

I work in a shop and duralast stuff is the bottom of the barrel. We only order it when we have no choice. We have had nothing but problem with duralast stuff.

Hmm seems like the ball joint Duralast sells is made in Japan. So I guess the quality should be there. Anyone order them? How are they holding up?

I am undecided as well. I might just stick with Duralast ($67.99/ea. from Auto Zone) versus the Prosteer ($81.99/ea. from Pep Boys) because of price. Although for about $100 more I can get the Megan Racing version ($264.00), but my car is not lowered (yet). I would love to have the Moonface roll center adjusters ($499.00 to $620.00), but they're way too expensive to rationalize having them. The Bremen Tech or whatever brands ($30/ea. from eBay) are questionable because of all the fitment/quality issues I have read about. Auto Zone does have a limited lifetime warranty though. I can't stand not driving my car.

I ordered them awhile ago and just got them installed today. My passenger ball joint was shot for awhile and my driver side joint was about to go out too and I felt a pretty nice difference. Ride quality was a bit nicer and the noise disappeared.

Fitment wasn't perfect, but they are almost exactly like the OEM ones.

Any updates of how the Duralast ball joints are holding up? I know it's only been a week, but still lol. How are they doing? I'm on the fence with them due to price. I was thinking of opting for the $60 eBay ones from Taiwan and swapping out the dust boots with Energy Suspension ones. But, I want to do this once and not have to ever worry about it again.

PMed you. My ball joints are still good. I think it's been 2+ years? The only thing is the boot isn't seated right. I didnt know about the energy boots at the time.

Bought mine from Autozone ($60) after reading through the forums for hours...came to the conclusion that it'd be better to replace with the Autozone ones 1) because of their lifetime warranty, And 2) because I read that changing out the dust boot to a polyurethane (correct me if I'm wrong about the precise name) material would enhance it b/c the material is better quality for dust boots. I got my dust boot from Energy Suspension

Those look exactly the same as the Vollig ones although those do include the cone shaped shim (the volligs I ordered didn't come with them so I reused my oem ones)
