my suspension up front makes a god awful noise over every bump it hits. its loud, obvious, and obnoxious. also when i apply the brakes briskly it makes the clunking noise.
i can also get the noise when im stopped, and i release and press the brakes quickly. its a clunking/bouncy noise almost. i can get a video if thatd help. any idea what it is? i already replaced my shocks w/ s techs and my stock z's struts, which didnt help at all

Sounds like compression rods due to the clunking with touching the brake.
It's easy to see outside of the car, have someone do it in the car while you stand outside and you'll see it. The wheel will actually move forwards and backwards.
Had the same thing..replaced both compression rods and all good. (usually it's the bushing that goes in the compression rod which is sold separately)
