Sedan S Tech question?

Searched but couldn’t find an answer.

Question: Will the sedan Tein S Techs get lower after they settle?

Had Z springs up front and wanted it just and inch lower. So I ordered some brand new sedan s techs since it says 2 inch drop up front. Just put them in 2 days ago and only notice a half inch drop over the Z springs at the most.

Edit - deleted the pics. Sorry I can't stand seeing my car that high.

Well I was thinking of Tein CS but that will dip into my wheels money. I plan on picking some up when I get situated with the suspension. Just wondering if anyone knows if the S-Techs will get a little lower after they are settled.

It should take them about 2 weeks to reach their full position and shouldn't settle lower after that.

Thanks that's exactly what I wanted to know. I'm hoping it settles a half inch more like the advertised drop of 2 inchs in the front. It currently only dropped the front 1 1/2 inches.

All new springs need time to settle. It should drop more in a week or so

Thanks Chris. My first experience with springs. I always ran coilovers in my old car. Trying to take a more budget friendly route to lower this time to have more cash for wheels since new coilovers for this car quite pricey compared to when I had a civic.

I have Coupe S-techs no camber kit. I have a little bit of camber. Yet to see tire wear. 8 months later. I am pretty low ill tell you that. Dealership told me within 6 months my tires will be bald if i dont get a camber kit. 8 months later i still dont really see any tire wear.

im debating wether to get the skunk 2 springs, 1.3 drop in front and 1" in the rear or the sedan S techs 2 inches in the front 1.3 in the back, but everyone says with the S tech you need a camber kit, i don't know what to do

If you just want a small drop why not get some used z springs? cheaper won't cause much uneven wear to your tires if any without a camber kit.

I myself have the Tein S-Techs on my sedan. Right now I notice my front tires are wearing a lot on the inside. Is this really true that I need a camber kit for the front? It only dropped about 2".

I only had those s techs on for a month before i swapped them for coils but my front tires wore out bad on the inside during that month with s techs. Could be my toe was really off when i put them on.

ya I thought it was my toe at first also, so I went digging for my alignment sheet and my toe is only .03-.04 which is fine. So i guess I have to get a camber kit, what coils did you go with?
