Just had KYB GR-2s installed on all four corners. I have 124k miles on my '04 coupe. Did not change springs since I don't really care about lowering. I liked the stock ride, but figured the shocks needed replacement. I absolutely hate the slight bouncing that I am getting. I drove down a local highway that is notorious for slight waviness which causes the cars to rock forward to back slightly. It was awful. So, my question is: Why the hell is my car bouncing so much?

the ride should be firmer since at 124k your shocks would be blown or pretty worn out. it shouldnt be bouncy though. maybe your just used to the cady ride feeling.
Yeah, maybe. I just figured that the ride might be stiffer, I just didn't expect the bounce. Could it be a bad combo with the original springs?

shock might be abit to firm for the oem springs. but should make that big of a differnce. where are you located?

you should find a local memeber and ask them to swap for some oems + they pay install. that would work out for both of u. your not paying any extra and they will be paying 200 for a new set of shocks.

does the car feel like it bounces out of control or does it seems like it transfers the bumps of the road to the car? Is it maybe too stiff or too loose?
I think maybe I'm just not used to the stiffness. After driving it yesterday and home last night, I am getting used to it. It is definitely transfering road imperfections. Thanks for your replies.

If I were you you may wanna swap out for a set of stock shocks. Someone who needs replacement shocks may want to grab yours and use them with a different set of lowering springs for their desired ride.
I JUST had a set of Tokico Dspecs installed last week. I've been sorting out some problems after the install (clunk sounds) and am almost done. Once the desired effect is achieved my stock shocks(37K pampered miles) with revised 350z springs intact will be available for sale.
Keep an eye out for the for sale threads also check chicagoz soon. I'm about 90% done
