According to SPC, the toe bolts can also be used in to replace the OEM rear camber bolts. Has anyone tried this instead of buying rear camber arms?

 

never tried it .. but you still might have to e-longate the hole for more adjustment .. honestly the arm is easier to install and only cost 140 bucks for the pair

 

Yes you would elongate the hole. Cost $44 for a pair of bolts. A lot cheaper than camber arms. Lighter too. Just wondering if anyone has done it.

 

You misunderstand. There is a rear factory camber bolt in addition to the toe bolt. I am asking if anyone has installed an SPC bolt in the camber position.

 

You can do it, it will fit, they will work but only be affective if you elongate the holes.

I think what metaldrummer is saying, once you elongate the hole for the camber bolts, you might not have enough spec with the OEM toe bolts to get your toe back into spec. So you would need to elongate the toe bolts as well.

 

I would do both toe and camber bolts. The point is to save some money over camber arms and save a little weight too since the SPC camber arms are pretty beefy.
