Motordyne Adjustable Sway Bars for the 350Z and G35.
Hello. I need lots of advice with sway bars. I've read up a bit on them and I have a pretty good idea of what they do. How do you adjust the stiffness on these particular bars? And also, are they relatively easy to install? I want to start on suspension before moving onto other projects, are sways a good start?? Just got my coupe a month ago and the mod bug bit pretty hard.

Install is straight forward, the only things that might cause issue are the conditions of endlink bolts and nuts. Sometimes they come off with ease (mine did), other times they can seem like they were welded on. LIke anything else, its easiest if you have a lift, if you are doing it on jackstand you will probably want to detach the exhaust at the rear most flange to help you manuever the rear bar out/in, might even need to take the rear wheels off.
Sways are the best place to start with suspension, best improvement for the money, being dropped is nice, but sways always provide a radical improvement.

I need to add a lift to my garage when i get a new house!
I did the install on jackstands and had to unbolt the rear exhaust to manuever the rear bar out. Didn't have to take the rear wheels off.
Blasphemy!
Install went relatively smooth. It was a bit tricky getting the rear bar on (sliding it over my exhaust was like a maze). Then again, everything is harder when you're working on jack stands instead of a lift.
Feels great thus far!

each sway bar has 3 stiffness settings per side. Stiffness settings ranging from 110% to 160% of baseline.
Exhaust clearance with these sway bars is greater than with any other swaybar set on the market.
Not that more clearance is needed with a motordyne exhaust but the additional clearance is always a good thing to have and is easily built into the design.

loving my sways so far... makes a pretty big difference
i have it set to med/med right now.... all other suspension is stock
would the car be more biased towards understeer or oversteer if i were to set it on hard/hard.... or would it change the bias at all?
