modifying spc a-arms

im looking for the opinion of someone with knowledge in metal fabrication or engineering... i have a concern with the strength of my a-arms after modifying them. im looking to pull a little more pos camber up front and everyone knows, the spc a-arms dont have much adjustment. my question is, how much can i grind out (of the circled section, pictured below) before sacrificing the safety of the arms? im sure i could completly grind that whole section out but IF the ball joint nut happened to work itself loose one day, id be in some trouble. i also thought about cutting it completly out and having that section extended out a little bit. that would then require a bit of persuasion from underneath too since i would be hitting.

If you use the provided spacers, SPC a-arms have the MOST positive adjustment....+3 degrees IIRC. The spacers add a static +2 degrees. The arms themselves can adjust up to +1 degree.

^What he said. Just add the spacers and you shouldn't need to hack the arms

thats my problem. ive been trying to get ahold of the spacers. i purchased the arms used from a member on here about a year ago and the spacers were not included. i found one member who has the spacers available but he will not ship them.

Just keep looking for the spacers is your best bet... I have contacted SPC too see if they would sell just the spacers by themselves and they won't
