Eibach Springs need help
Ok so I have searched this forum and talked to a few people but want to get my answers all in one place if I can. I have an '06 G35 sedan. My local shop has an extra set of eibach pro-kit which would drop a coupe 1.1 in front and 1 in the back so I think if I'm not mistaken that would drop my car 1.6 in the front and 1.5 in the back. First off is that ok to do, put the coupe springs on. Second I know I would need an alignment after but would I need a full camber kit, my shop says I can just get some bolts for the back. Next would my tires rub or wear any faster? and I think my last and final question is I have my stock shocks and have 46,000 miles on my car will my shocks last with those springs till 70 or 80k? Thanks for any input that can be given. Also is 450 installed for those springs a good price?

No problem using the springs if you want to go that low. I like running 1.5-2 inches lower personally. Your offset on your wheels will determine potential problems with rubbing. If factory then no issues. With that drop you should be able to get a good alignment without issue. They should be able to get you in spec to were your not tearing up tires. Your shocks are going to get beat up and may or may not last as long as you need them too. Going a inch or slightly lower seems to work okay but when your 1.5 inches and lower the shocks/struts go downhill fast. They will get you by but an upgrade should be in the near future. It really helps in the overall ride and handling anyways and will bring the stability back that you loose when lowering on factory struts. Don't get me wrong...your car will not be all over the road. You just wont see the value of the springs until you get a quality strut suitable for lowered cars.
Price seems fair with the springs installed. I would never pay that since they are an easy install but if you don't have the tools or time then you should be fine. Since they have them in stock and seems like they want to sell them, haggle a little and see what you can do. Never hurts to try. Say.... 375 installed. That rear is sooooo easy!
Either way.... there are always going to be good deals on springs so if you not sure just wait and buy both springs and struts you are comfortable with all in one shot. In my opinion there are better deals out there for better springs and the saved money can go toward a good set of struts to complete the install. Shops always have good deals until you start shopping around. You may find a qualified helper to help do the install and get your hands dirty too. Its rewarding to get in there and turn some wrenches if your new to the game.

Thanks for your advice, I do think I could haggle. and about the tires they are not stock they are 20"XXR's but with low profile tires so the overall size stayed the same as my stock 18's. The shop is looking at doing a dual exhaust for my '06 which will cost some cash because the stock is a single exhaust so he might give me an even bigger deal on the springs. I do want to lower my car and work on it myself but my dad doesn't trust me with my car, and he is already against a drop in the first place haha, but thanks for your help it's much appreciated

You need to be concerned with the offset of the wheels. The diameter plays a part but offset is a little more important since your running a common size wheel.
If it were me. I would take the money from the non-functional duals and use the money to finish the suspension like for struts. Duals look cool but do nothing for the car other then to add weight and cost.
Your car though and your call. Just throwing out an opinion.
Proper mods are about balance and changing the suspension should be done right the first time. Nothing wrong with changing springs and then struts soon after but if you have the means to do it all at once then thats the way to go.

Thanks, I am kinda leaning more on waiting and getting coilovers later so it will be a clean setup all the way. I know the exhaust won't give me any power but I hate my stock being on one side, I like it being on both sides so I'm going to try to get a custom Y pipe and then just use dual tips on each side.

ya thanks for your guy's input, I really want to lower my car but do not want to cheap out on things and have problems down the road. I get my car put on a lift tomorrow to see if a Y pipe can be built on my 06, right now on the passenger side there is a plastic cover and i heard there is an hvac can (don't know what that means lol) so i hope it can be moved and a y pipe can go in and then two sets of dual tips :] i think it will look and sound way good
