basic or s tech

i am trying to decide if its going to be worth it to upgrade from stechs to tien basics. they will be on my 04 sedan. with the s techs i get a drop of 1.7-2 inches. so my question is how much lower am i going to be able to go if i was to put tien basics on instead?

or if anyone has a picture of a sedan with 20s and tien basics slammed as low as they will go that would be helpful as well

how much do you want for yours? there is another guy selling some for 550 shipped.
i can get s techs for a lot cheaper. so if the basics are only going to get me a tiny bit lower then i dont want them.

You'll be able to go lower on tein basics Kenny. You have to keep in mind that going just springs, you'll need to get shocks sooner or later due to the added rebound you'll be giving the OEM shocks.

I also wouldn't recommend Tein basics if you want to slam it only because you'll wind up losing the pre-load of the spring on them which will wind up giving you a bump/clunk going over medium to larger bumps. We can talk about it all at the show next week if you want. Not sure if you are ready to pull the trigger on this purchase right now or not.

Oh...and camber kits...unless you don't care about the wear on your tires

The basics are a good entry level coilover but you really need to think about what direction you are headed with the G first. There are other things you have to consider

I have Z H-tech springs on my coupe and saw a good deal locally for some basics. I'm not looking to slam mine. I am more about the performance aspect. I don't plan to track it as of now cause its my DD. I like how mine sits now for the most part. I am just curious if it will be a better performance upgrade for me over what I'm running. Also my shocks have 105k miles on them. I am also looking into getting some 19's to replace my OEM wheels just trying to find a good set of used rims as well to sit somewhat flush.
