Im getting a clunk sound while backing my car out of a driveway. Also if you go to the rear passanger side and push down and pull up on the car you can duplicate it. What might it be? Compression rod that Ive been reading about>?

 

and it seems to be coming from the bottom of the susp

 

broken spring? Very hard to say without seeing / hearing it

 

Compression rod noise would come from the front, my guess would be your endlink is no good, once you have it up on the hoist you'll be able to pin point the problem.

 

Hmm I will check under the car again today since I did a furter search to see what they look like. Thanks

 

Got outside today. The endlinks are not broke but you can wiggle it a little bit. And the sound is def coming from there cause if you shake the car up and down while your hand is on it you feel the clank

 

mine too keeps the same niose..when ever i reverse out the drive way any step on the brakes I hear the clunk clunk..
