2005 G35 Sedan Brake Pads and Rotors
I think I need new brake pads and rotors (or least need having my rotors machined). Can anyone recommend good brake pads and rotors for these cars? Thanks.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Please use the search button in this thread. This topic has been beaten to death and there are a million opinions on what's best. My opinion is for a daily driver OEM pads and Centric rotors are more than adequate and reasonably priced.
Then you didn't search very well. 05-06 Coupes and RWD Sedans are all the same, so don't be so specific in your search. OEM pads are as good or better than anything out there, and as Blue said, Centric makes very good rotors.
Centric part numbers.
Front: 120.42080
Rear: 120.42088
Check with a local parts store. They can find them by these part numbers. The rotors may have a different brand on them than Centric, but they make rotors for lots of people. My caliper rebuild kits were some off-brand, but the part#'s matched up with Centric's rebuild kits, so I knew I was getting a Centric part.
These rotors work on quite a few different models (G35, 350Z, Maxima, Murano), and yes, they work on a 2007 G35 Sedan, although not on the Sport version.

does anyone know if 350z brakes + pads fit on a 05 sedan? either brembo or not which ever. It's just that if its specifically a Nissan dealer I get parts discount. I'm sorry if this has been beaten to death I'm even using google as my search tool and this one was one of the only ones I could find :-/

^ It would depend on the years. I know that the sedan subforum has a measurement chart for sedans as well as my350z' tech area for 350z's.
Your best easiest bet to search between years would be to just go to a site like brakeperformance or brakewarehouse and see if the parts #'s/rotor & pad sizes match up when searching for the specific years you're looking at for a g35/350z. Or even try Centric's website
