Hawk brake pads

I would like to share my experience with the Hawk brake pads. A few year back when I first join this forum, right after I bought my G. I read about the brake issues some members have brought up. I immediately changed to Hawk pads. My experience with them has been extremely satisfied to say the least. I have about 80K, the front pads are good for another 10K with orginal rotors. I changed a rear pads at about 70K still original rotors. The Hawk pads are gentle on the rotors with very little dust. The best price is at Amazon with free shipping.

The Hawk street pads. Don't use their racing pads.

I have the HPS, they're not that great when cold, but they get VERY sticky when hot. They also tend to dust ALOT.

I have them with my cross drilled rotors and they are starting to squeek very bad.. Not sure on the miles but they do need to be replaced so I just ordered another set from Riverside Infiniti for $109.00 for the front and rear.. There is definitly less dust from my oem pads..

My experiences were mostly good with HPS pads. No dust, hard quick stops, EXCEPT when it was cold AND raining. It felt like I had NO brakes at all for the first second and a full second is a LONG time when you are coming into a fast turn in the rain and need to scruff off some speed or go over the rail. Never again.
