Wheel alignment explanation

Not really your typical -if my alignment is ok- question. How do you know if the toe alignment has a slight toe-in or a toe out setting? What examples in degrees are toe-ins and toe-outs?

For example if 0.00, is dead-on straight, does that mean the driver side should be +0.01 and the passenger side should be -0.01 for a toe-in configuration? I'm thinking in terms of a clock where 12 o'clock is 0.00 and clockwise is positive, and counter-clockwise is negative. Does this make sense or am I completely off?

^Negative for toe-in? What I don't understand is that the "before" toe is in (negative)red which is apparently misaligned on this person's alignment readout...

and the "after" is back in the postive 0.03(green)

or even on this other person's alignment printout...

Sorry I had the pos and neg flipped before. Your specs looks pretty good. It looks like they tried to set it right in the middle of the specs. The rear camber is slightly out of spec, but not too bad. More toe-in in the front would be better for wear, but it is pretty good where they set it.

^gotcha, so positive is toe-in, ...the higher the degree, the more toe-in(left AND right side).

By the way, those alignment images aren't mine. I just used them as an example.
