any1 have dba4000+halk pad?

any1 have dba4000+halk pad?-img_0145.jpgI put dba4000 brake rotor + halk pad about month ago.

I have no problem with it, but as you can see picture it starts get rust.

rear rotor is worth then front rotor

any1 has same problem???

what is best way to get rust out of rotor? it look ugly as hell~

it seems my pad doesn't bite rotor all the way, is this normal?
any chance of made mistake while I was install?
can u post ur rotor pictures? so I can compare with mine

Yes. I have the same set up. I had the same problem. Solution = High Temperature Spray Paint in black. You can remove and paint only the rotors or leave everything assembled and spray the calipers & the rotor. If you don't have brembo's go ahead and spray the calipers, looks much better. Remove wheels. Clean your surfaces well. Wipe down with alcohol and spray 2 or 3 light coats. It does not matter if paint adheres to the swept portion of the rotor, your pads will sweep it clean. Done.

This is not normal but Hawk HPS are notorious for being pads with very poor initial bite. I had them on my car and hated them.

Hawk ceramics + dba4000 = great for daily driver. DBA "tested" the combo on a WRX with good results. Also no dust, good stopping power. Maybe you should add steel lines as well.
