I'm looking to purchase a set of tein basic coilovers. I know Tein is a very reputable brand, but i would like to know how they compare versus other performance coilovers out there? Are the Basics worth getting or is there anything else out there i would be better off going with?

 

I don't mind the Tein Basics, but I like coilovers with adjustable dampening. Tein Basics do not come with adjustable dampening.

What are you looking to do with your coils tho? Better ride quality? Slammage?

 

Depends on what you are looking for from them, but I agree that they aren't really worth it anymore IMO because there are many other bargain brands that have adjustable dampening and some can go lower as well for the same price range.
