Just got a 05 G35X... need brakes

Hey guys, so I've been on here for a little over a month as I just picked up a garnet fire 05 g35x...

The car is great, but I definitely need front brakes, and after searching, I'm a bit confused.
So i know the 03-04's had the horrible front brakes, and my 05x has the same brakes, so not a good thing.

My question is should I stay away from the oem pads now? alot of people say they are the best but is that just for the revised?

Thanks

yeh so crappy one pistons in front.

But are the oem pads the stealerhsips sell still as bad as before? or would they be more along the lines of the revised pads?

yeah the 05X still shared the same brakes as the 03-04s. Only the 05 RWD, and all 06 models got the updated brakes.

The older brakes werent 'bad' in a way of stopping performance, they just put out ALOT of brake dust and dont last very long. So if you dont mind the extra brake dust but want good stopping performance, stay with OEM pads.

Could always "upgrade" to the 06 brakes...especially if you are planning some sore of aftermarket wheel. The 03/04/05x brakes just look tiny behind aftermarket wheels
