Arrow Time for new struts/shocks..Any Suggestions?!?

Hey guys,

I just hit 72k on my G sedan so as the title says I need some new shocks. Ever since I dropped her on unrevised Z springs I have really been able to notice that my struts are past their prime. When I hit a shallow pothole or go over train tracks now I can really feel it. I know most of this is due to my lower stance so I'm hoping one of you guys who has also gone lower has any suggestions for me. I'm thinking about maybe going with some Z struts?? Any info is much appreciated!!

you might as well just get coils. you dont need to do any insane drop just because you have coils. but it will give you a good amount of adjustability to set the height and stiffness that YOU want.

you can go with coils or z struts, but what others do is they just get the tokico blues for like 200 bucks... and just keep your springs.

lowering springs on stock struts will put too much stress on them and even if you replace them they will blow eventually...

full coilovers the only way to go, I can get you a killer deal on some Apexi's right now if you're interested, PM for details

For coilovers, will you also need to buy a camber kit?

because u have coils doesnt mean u need camber, it all depends how low you are going.

I would look into a set of Tokico blues for the 350Z. Im running G/Z set-up with Tokico shocks and im pretty happy with the ride. I dont plan to track my car or go any lower so they are a good fit. Cant beat them for the cost IMO.
