A strut bar is a pretty simple device. My only concern would be fitment.

^ And for 50 bucks I'd be plenty concerned. OTOH doesn't cost much to try one out.

You get what you pay for, i wouldn't expect it to help the handling but it will look pretty in the engine bay

Thanks for the opinions guys; I was kind of leery about it too, so I talked with a couple of guys that are engineers here at work that really know there stuff. And what I got from them is basically most manufacturers of tower braces, stabilizer bars and other suspension parts mark the up there prices big time. Just because this is inexpensive and the manufacturer isn't so greedy doesn't mean it's not good and won't perform just as good at the more expensive ones. So for $50.00 I think I will try it because I trust these guys allot, they really know there stuff, most of what they design are military grade since 98% of our customers are the military.

My only concern would be that it supposedly fits an 07 sedan according to the listing. I don't think 1st and 2nd gen engine bays are the same.

I was interested in this also. Would appreciate how it turned out. It says one can install it with common hand tools. Do you just unbolt and bolt the brace on top? Does the car need to be raised? Alignment issues? Sorry for newbie questions. Never really modded cars before. Thanks.

^ Yes, normally you would just remove the shock nuts, place the bracket overtop, reinstall nuts and bolt strut bar to brackets. Sometimes it's that easy, other times you have to fiddle with it a lot to get it to fit. That's what would worry me about this piece. Still in for review, OP, did you pick one up?

No I haven't gotten it yet, had to go out of town for work, when I got back I went to buy it from Ebay and the guy raised the price up $30.00 so I am watching it to see if he lowers it back to what it was.
