Pirates coilovers
thats personal choice..if you have the extra money go for it..it would be an extra $180 if you pick them up from topspeed directly since your in TX but if your getting them shipped its an extra $210..
the extra cash would probably be worth it in the end for warranty reasons..but im with toro and took the risk on these for $520 from china instead of $730 shipped form topspeed

and Illuminati the ride looks great! thats all im missing is a lip..is that the ebay N1? im a fellow New Yorker btw..i was raised in The Bronx..
mine is lower in the front and my rears seem a little lower than yours and my tires are thinner
on 19s but its probably just the angle of your pic..but i was able to keep it that way since im not having any issues scraping but seems like its not the same for you.. good job tho! and the issue you were having sounds like you were trying to turn the shock body from the threaded part since you loosened the spring..if you loosened the bottom collar where the bottom shock connects that spins freely no matter how tight the spring is in there..
No I don't have any issues scraping or bottoming out even on the steepest driveways. My tires are a 45 series sideway and I only have a 15mm spacer in the rear if I was to get 20 or 25mm I would have to roll the rear fenders. If I was on aftermarket wheels with better offsets it would be perfect and I wouldn't be tucking.you have to remember they still needs to settle
O ok cool I've been wanting a lip just trying to see how they look on other g cars first ..
And yeah I forgot you just installed them..sorry got ahead of myself haha..mine settled after a few days to a week..I love the way your oem 19s look on your coupe anyway.

Nice nice my grill is plastidipped..not 1 chip even a yr later...I'm just always iffy about the lip cause its just so flat and pointy but for the price there's rlly nothing to be picky about..if I don't want it someone will haha..yeah I have 35 series in front and 30 rear on my 19s..I need black hpusing headlights..don't wana go thru hassle of opening them tho..
Haha gotta love the supportive nature of this site..just kidding..I was going to at 1 point but then seen some peoples failed efforts..I'm gooad at diy stuff but id hate to mess up a pair and then having to buy another set..
Oh yeah... just noticed you have an 05.
I was going to say, what's the worst that could happen, you completely botch them and have to buy a set off eBay for $150? But... yeah... that's no-so-much an option for you I guess

oops, I didn't realize. It's an 05 and a coupe... sorry, for some reason, I got this confused with another thread in the sedan section.
03/04 sedans can get replacement lights from ebay that are already black, but the 05/06 sedans don't have that option.
I just looked up and saw "2005 Infiniti G35" and because I forgot where this thread was I assumed it was a sedan DOH!
...but you're still a pansy for not baking them open and painting them
Seriously though, I've had mine in the oven about a half-dozen times. And I know some of the members on here that have baked dozens and dozens of lights with no problems.

I figured you were mixed up about something but no biggie...and I'm not worried at all about the baking ill throw the suckers in there just worried about prying them open and putting them back together and possibly not fitting right..
