Rear wheel bearings are always sold separately from the hub and that is my final answer..

That is what mine is doing.. So I guess I'll replace the tires before I look ingot getting the wheel bearings..

Does anyone know if putting these bearings on difficult?

Mine were screaming at 45,000 miles on my 04 Coupe. I had them replaced under my extended warranty. Wheel bearings years ago lasted 150,000+ miles.

03 g35 sedan here. I noticed the noise would start while I am on the freeway slight right turns. As I am driving taking a slight turn going over 50 mph I would here the right side growling.... verly low at the time. Now a a few months later the noise came back with a vengeance like they say.I could hear it when I am driving straight, when I cut the wheel to the right it got extremely loud. The Mechanic and I went on a test drive and he immediately pointed out it was the bearing from the right.
So he replaced the bearing and we went on a second drive.... damn noise is still there. He decided to install the bearing he removed from right to the driver side.
Third test drive and the noise is finally gone! !
I guess noise does travel.

For all wheel bearings - if you turn right and hear it more its the bearing on the left that is normally the cause of the noise. If you are turning left, and it gets louder change the right side bearing.

Mine were making noise in the back and I confirmed it when I got new tires and it was still there. I tried to change them myself, but I didn't have the tools so I took it to a mechanic I know. He had it done in 2 1/2 hours, charged me 300 bux. BUT, he said "don't EVER bring me another one!"

He looked in the book and it said 5.2 hours to change them, he did it in less than 3 and only charged me appropriately.

I like this guy.

I replaced the whole hub myself in less than an hour. They're bolt on hubs and fairly easy to replace. Hub was $130.

Front or back? If back did you remove axels to get to the hub flange bolts?

It was a front hub, I haven't replaced the rear hubs yet.

you have to remove axle anyways to get the hub out. I pulled axle to get to the bolts since it had to be removed anyways.

If you look at the service manual, you have to take EVERYTHING apart.

Mine sounded like a light scraping noise that resonates louder and louder as time went on.
