front Toe spec

front Toe spec

Hi,
I need help with front toe spec quickly.
I'm replacing my SPC arms with stock arms. If the camber stays around -2.7, i'll stick with stock arms. So my question is, If the camber is around -2.7, what would be the wise number for toe spec for reducing the wear on inner side of tires, AND for DD and autox use? i expect some wear on inner side of tires, but was told that good number in toe will save it.
My car, 350z, is dropped with Stance gr+ by the way.

alot of the stanced guys run close to or at zero on total toe.

As close to 0.00 as possible. Spec for the front is 0.00-0.12 IIRC. Rear is 0.00-0.22

When I worked at the alignment shop I would set all G/Z's to 0.05 on either side (0.10 total toe)

If it has to be either toe in or out, what's better?
I know a guy who has toe in with more drop than i have. I'm afraid toe in would cause wear on outside.

toe out is positive. i wouldnt think toe in would do well on a G. just zero it out. im currently around .12f and .22r but i'll be close to zero next alignment to see if my tires will last a lil longer with my camber settings.

Ideally you want the toe at 0.00
A little toe out (0.05) won't hurt.

Don't tell them you want toe in or toe out. Just tell them you want between 0.00-0.05. Toe in on an alignment machine will read -0.01 which you don't want

You want it aligned with toe-in because the tires will move out when you get up to speed.

From service bulletin NTB04-043a:
The preferred setting is 2 mm (0.08 in.) [ 0.2º ] ... Once the final adjustment is done, it is very important that there is no "toe-out".

accordding Brandon, shouldn't the toe be between 0.00 and negative .05

No, you want the numbers to be positive. Spec is between 0.00 and 0.08 for the front and the rear is 0.00 and 0.22

i'm little confused. you want toe IN, but spec between 0.00 and 0.05 ? (isn't positive toe OUT)

Positive is toe-in.

Manual says spec for G35 front toe is:
0.00in or 0.00° to 0.08in or 0.08°

However, 0.08in does not equal 0.08°, its about 0.2° which is the preferred spec for a 350Z. Next time I get mine aligned, I'm going for 0.2°.

Do i still want the toe to be near zero even the camber is around -2?

What would be a good toe number on rear with -1.5 camber?
