I mainly use Project Mu B-Force. Theyve been plenty grippy but quiet and not too dusty for me.

Theyre great when they warm up but to me initial bite isnt strong enough for a dd.

Wahh i've had mine on for like a good 5k miles so far and they're doing just fine.

It actually seems like the opposite. Whenever someone posts something about brake pads. Alot of people suggest Hawk HPS.

I noticed those problems on the set I had, granted they were on another vehicle not a g/z. But in theory they would be the same.

I ran the HPS and took them off after 5000 miles because I hated them. Gave them away for free because I felt bad charging someone for them. Went back to OEM (I have an 05) and couldn't be happier.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't love HAWK HPs. My only conclusion is that you didn't do the bed/break in process which they recommend. That way you have zero noise, stop on a dime and they double the life of OE pads....how can you possibly miss....?

I have the Hawk HPS, and they're a bit different from OEM. There's less initial bite, full braking force is the same (I can lock up the fronts on dry pavement), they dust less, but they're also more prone to overheating, so if you get them very hot, they won't stop as well as OEM. You're unlikely to get them that hot on the street, though.

I disagree completely with the poster who said they need warmup, they most certainly do not. Hawh HP+ require some warmup to be effective, not the HPS.

Project Mu B-Forces are alot more pricey as compared to other pads. Or I probably would of went with them instead. Oh well doing fine with my HPS pads though.

I seriously wouldn't be concerned about price/cost when the subject is brakes and stopping your ride. Wish someone would have a comparison test between Project Mu pads and Hawks. That would be way beyond interesting to see who's pads stopped the best, had the least amount of wear on our rotors and showed the smallest amount of the hated dust.

I may actually have access to some PMu vs Hawk data. Lemme see if I can get it....

And price... its a difference of like $50-60 over the course of how long!? I mean, if pads had to be changed every month then I might bitch about price... but cmon people lol. :P
