Weird noise from my rear end of my G
Well my problem on my car is that when either I accelerate from a idle position for about a minute or more I hear a small rattling noise for 2 seconds when I hit the gas I hear it in the rear of my car. The other way I hear it at times is when I shift gear into to DRIVE position in my automatic transmission when you know when your back end elevates a little when shifting gears. First I thought it was my shocks since I knew they were shot but got new tokico HPs from stillen 3 weeks ago and put them on my car. Anyone have any suggestions? I called concept Z and they told me differential bushings. Just wanted other opinions before running off to get them. Thanks!
Diff bushings would be my recommendation... i've got a loud clunk when i shift hard from the rear and i looked at my rear bushing (the one that goes through the rear subframe from the back of the diff) and it has leaked out all of the grease/fluid from inside the bushing... take a look at yours and that will tell you right away... search on here for bad diff bushings and you'll find some images of what i'm talking about... you'll see some black stains on the subframe under the big 3in bushing...
I just got my energy suspension diff bushings and waiting on install... but all that i've read it will fix it!
