09+ Brake Pads on 05-07?
So I'm quite confused about the brake pads for the G35. This is pertaining to non-Brembos. I haven't found any concrete information on years and part numbers. From what I remember, the 05-07 are interchangable, but the 05 also has different part numbers so most dealers will ask for the vin# to be sure. Then I came across this today on the nicoclub forum:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/06-coupe-...n-t430594.html
"For the rear, and this goes for ALL coupes 05-07 and 06 sedans, If you want to upgrade your pads with something thats OEM, buy Part number D4060-EG50C
Even the fronts can be upgraded also to D1060-EG51A if you want.
The stock part numbers are
44060-EG00J for rear and 41060-EG090 for front.
The "D" series are a step up from the "4" pads."
Now I'm not a member of nicoclub so I didn't respond there, but I was wondering if anyone on g35driver has actually put these pads on their 05-07 as he so recommended. Also, I can't find what years these "D" series pads are from. Some sites say 09+ and some say 06-08. I wish these websites were more accurate. All I know is that my dealer gave me the "4" series part numbers based off of my vin#. But if these "D" series are actually an upgrade for the same price, I will just go with those.
