Need Help ASAP :(

Ok I just purchased rear brake pads and rotors and while I was trying to unbolt the two bolts (14mm) to take pads off I stripped one of the bolts and stripped the hexagon to where its rounded off. So I was wondering if some one might know the bolt number so I can purchase it from infiniti. I have searched and searched and have found nothing so I figured id ask on the forums to see if I can get help. Thanks a lot in advance

Not a good idea....^....any bolts having to do with the brake area should be grade -8 bolts and most hardware stores don't carry anything close. You're going to have to wait until Monday and either visit Nissan or Infiniti for the right bolt. The independent brake/alignment shop I use carries both the nuts/bolts cause they're easily broken and not avaliable every where.

^Didn't know it was supposed to be 8. Since the bolt I bought has held for a year now with a 6-pot caliber it was probably the correct rating.

Call up a local Infiniti parts department. If you're in SoCal,, hit up Tony or Rick from OC Infiniti.

The caliper bolts? Autozone sells those. Have you gotten the old bolt out yet?

I haven't got the old bolt out yet. Gonna have to get some kind of kit to take out stipped head bolts. I actually ordered a bolt from infiniti and it ran me 4.50 which ain't that bad I guess.
