Does Energy Bushing knock compared to worn out compression rod bushing, after installation the knocking sound went away but sometimes the knock does come back.

It's not the bushings you replaced, something else is knocking. Inspect your front end links, they might be the issue.

Both of my front ball joints are toast and they don't make any noise so I suspect the answer to your question is no.

Check your compression rods and lower control arms. They both have bushings that wear out and can make noise. Other culprits are the struts and end links as previously mentioned.

I also replaced my control arm bushings (Energy) this week and experienced some noise when turning the wheel at a full stop. I'm hoping to get it looked at today. My ball joints look bad, but figured I had a few months left on them. Let us know how it goes!!

i am getting few different opinions on the knock that my car is making.and i dont see a point on changing everything since my ccar is 2004 and its just a work-DD.
opinions are
tie rods
ball joins
bushing
control arm
hub assembly
now its the fun time to figure what it is
