Is my Tein Basic blown? What to do?

I noticed a creaking sound coming from my left rear driving the other day after bringing it out of storage from winter.

Closer inspection, I see my left rear lowered where my wheel is now tucked under the fender, is it bottomed out? Blown?

It's about 4 years and 40K KM/20K Miles.

Anyone have experience with getting it rebuilt at Tein in LA? Cost, time, customer service, etc?

I'd get a new set if I were you. From what I hear it's not worth the fix and I know this is an old post.... :S

That would depend on the total cost to rebuild vs. new ones. If all four need to be rebuilt and the rebuild will cost 3/4 as much as a brand new set, might as well get new coilovers. Rebuilding isn't a bad option though in general.
