Do BBK's remove e-brake

hey G35 Forum, Im a starting track driver with my g35. I have the stock brembo calipers (4-front, 2-rear). I was wondering if I put a BBK on the rears will i lose my E-brake?

most should keep them. Issue is that they typically have aluminum hats for weight savings but that means you shouldnt be drifting on them.

Upgrading the rear probably won't do you much good as the rears are always weaker than the fronts. If you want upgrade the fronts to a 4 pot/6pot setup and you'd see a much bigger improvement.

I don't understand - are you just putting a BBK on the rears only? That would be a mistake as far as brake bias is concerned.

but my problem is that when i had my 240sx and i did the BBk (8/6 pot setup) I lost the e brake. Had to get a whole separate caliper for the ebrake just to function. so I my question is
will it happen to my g35 too?

Never heard of that happening before with a G35. RacingBrake's BBK leaves it functional and I'm willing to bet all others do as well.

You shouldn't lose it. The G35 rear has its own hub inside of which is the e- brake. The rear rotor mounts onto the hub.
