ebay brakes vs. autozone brakes..

I see brake kits, some with slotted rotors on eBay for 150 with pads...which kinda matches up with autozones prices..are these brakes any good?

for daily driving I think they should be fine. I would get solid rotors though, less chance of cracking.

Track use? I'd get brembo blanks

I would agree with the above statement. Just cruising around town you probably won't see a big difference between the two but definitely go for something like Brembo blanks if you do more performance oriented driving.

Brakes on ebay is too general a phrase as ebay carries brand name brakes parts like rotora and stoptech and brembo but also cheap crap made my companies with 0 credibility. I would stick to buying brand name brakes from a company with a decent reputation. I've seen what total brake failure looks like, and it is one of the scariest things in the world, you don't want that to be you. I personally run autozone blank rotors and hawk hps for the street/track and they do just fine. Im sure there are better performance options out there but for a budget setup its not bad at all.

Nothing wrong with duralast products..i trust them before ebay because obviously you can just carry it in and get a replacement..they have lifetime warranty unlike ebay. One would be dumb to choose ebay over autozone IMO lol

Nothing is more important than quality brakes and tires, "What's between you and the road might save your life!" If you'd rather not pay what Infiniti wants for a brake job buy the parts from our MARKETPLACE under vendor brakes. Then have an independent brake/alignment shop install them for you. I've been using HAWK HPS pads since '06 and love the stopping power and lack of brake dust. If you go with the HAWK pads SEARCH bed in process. This 15 minute job will give you 30% better braking power....Gary

Pretty much what they said, go with something you can swap out locally if the need arises
