Import where do you get 700 from? I picked up my spc for like 380 for the front. You get what you pay for that's for sure. I am glad I didn't Go with god speed although II was tempted because of their pricing.

i had their coilovers on my ek hatch and love them never had a problem ..

 

I got the price quote from one of the vendors on here offering a "special discount pricing" for forum members, and the price quote he gave me was $615 shipped. But I think he said it was for the SPL, and i haven't finished researching what the difference is between SPL and SPC

 

I hope that was for front and rear complete lol. I can't speak on spl as I've never used their product but I have spc and can't complain. I got my great pricing from b2autodesign!

@drizz can't really remember but I was probably in the high one hundred to lower two hundred.

One thing for everyone here to ponder is the concept of you get what you pay for which was mentioned earlier. SPL are superior to every other front control arm on the market due to their reliability, ease of installation, durability, and range of adjustment. They and the SPC are the only arms for the G that offer any usable positive camber adjustment which makes the SPC a decent option for budget minded folks. However, the SPC set has it's issues: ball joints/boots that wear out, difficult installation, use of a spacer/shim that is not adjustable for camber adjustments, etc. These are what steered me towards the SPL when I was researching for my car. Service at SPL has always been great for me as well, I bought the V2 arms and when the V3 came out, SPL offered me a free upgrade kit to the V3 parts which bolted right on my arms.

So is SPC cheaper, yes. Are they as good as the SPL's, no. The choice is up to the buyer as to which way they want to go. So fellas, remember you bought a G not a Honda and it's inherently more expensive to mod.

Anyone used the godspeed upper arms Gen 2? They look almost identical to the SPL arms

 

Every time I look at the SPL's what steers me away is how rigid they look. The bushings look like they provide little dampening abilities and a pretty rough ride, in comparison to others.

I like how Whiteline or SPC use rubber or some flexible plastic variant in their bushings so you maintain some of the softness of a OEM ride and not feel like you are riding in a Flintstones car

I'd like to think otherwise... but this is what it appears to me..
