Hi all,

I have an 04 G35 coupe and the rear suspension is making squeaking sounds when I go over a bump.

The sound started a few weeks ago and I am wondering what it is...I have hotchkiss sway bars so I thought it might be my end links. Can anyone confirm what end links sound like when they are about to go?

I thought it might also be a bushing...diff? rear subframe?

I'm considering just buying a whole new bushing kit for my suspension and having them all replaced at once. If its the endlinks, I will buy power grid end links and call it a day.

Any Ideas on what to do?

It could be the bushings. I replaced all the bushings in my Galant and NOW I have squeaking...so even with the kit you may end up with squeaking. I replaced them several years ago and they may just be in need of some lubrication. I got the graphite infused from energy. But squeaking from what I have found anyway, is usually bushings being worn out

Do end links make a clunking sound or squeaking sound when worn out?

 

End link clunk I believe, I had my rear hotchks sways squeak on me...ended up being the bushing needing grease

 

Has anyone had their spring mounts squeak? Especially after cutting them.
