Need help with differential.

An open diff will turn the wheels in opposite directions when the car is jacked up. Another way to tell is by holding one half axle steady and turning the flange on the front, that one half axle will remain stationary while the other will turn.
A VLSD will spin both half shafts in the same direction no matter what you do.

Yea, forget I asked that...saw it on the last page. Derp.
I'll make it easy:

Those 2 are direct bolt ups. g37s 6mt is 3.7 vlsd, also with the 4 bolt flange that directly bolts up to our cars. Only thing you need to do is take off the 2 abs sensor cables from those and bolt on the one that will stay on the car when you drop down the current broken diff.
Even if you get the diff you're currently talking about, youll have to swap the flanges from your current diff to the new one - all g37 auto diffs come with 3 bolt flanges that won't directly bolt to your current driveshaft. Save yourself time/money, grab one from a 6mt g37s.
trust me...I literally just got done installing mine an hour ago.
edit: forgot to mention the journey CAN come with vlsd, but only via a package option at time of purchase. you'd need paperwork from the car to find out I'm guessing.
