Rotors are cheap nowadays, just replace them.. I like knowing I have all new **** when I do my brakes.. It's a good time to make sure your calipers are working correctly, make sure to clean and grease the slide pins..

Yep, that is some crack right there.

How many miles before this happened? Have you tracked the car, or was this from street driving only?

Just trying to figure out if this happened road racing, hauling the car down from 100 mph over and over, or a 30 mph cruise down to the local car show.

It's been over four years ago, but I don't think I have 5K on them. No track, only street, however, I think we had done one Raging Bull Texas Stampede by then.

Of course StopTech wouldn't budge a penny, so I went back to stock, they are the only brakes that have bite when cold or hot, and don't make dust.

Not good on StopTech for at least giving a discount on at a minimum the one rotor that cracked. Should have met you half way on some type of compensation.

My stock pads and rotors made dust like there was no tomorrow. I couldn't drive on them gently enough to not have a wheel covered in brake dust after a few days.

Running Hawk Ceramic pads now, and initial bite is not as good as stock, but they put out as close to zero dust as any pad I have ever seen. I always drive as gently as possible since I hate brake dust. 95% of my driving is interstate, so not worried about initial bite, if you press the brake a little harder, they will stop just fine. Now if I was road racing or canyon carver every weekend, I'd have to get something else, HPS probably.

I tried HPS and I loved them.....

Until it got cold and wet, then there was a 1 second wait for them to bite. I mean it was like no brakes at all. As long as it was warm and dry, they were as good as anything I have tried.
