Car Shaking - sometimes

Hoping someone has had a similar problem or knows whats up with my car

I just got new tires about a week ago (and an alignment back in march maybe? ) and started noticing the steering wheel and a little bit of the whole car shaking sometimes. it wont be all the time, and not at certain speeds. ill be driving and the steering wheel will start to shake and then a few miles down stop. the car also does track straight so i dont think the camber is out of whack. i thought it could be bad tire balancing but i figured then it would shake all of the time..

any help is greatly appreciated!!

Could be a tire out of balance. They might have had a rookie balance it and he f***ed up.

Go to seers and get a free alignment check just to make sure its not your alignment.

Should be fine at any place. Bring some 2x4s just incase you need that extra lift to get on the rack.

Check your compression rod bushings.

Chances are very good after you had your tires balanced you lost a weight, rebalance should fix the vibration...Gary

I agree that it could either be a bad balancing job or a wheel weight fell off. However, in my opinion, I would assume that would make it consistently shake at the same same speeds
