Suspension Advice
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I'm just looking for some advice. I have a 2007 G35S Sedan with 150k miles on it. Engine runs great but the car rides very bumpy now and it's been going on for awhile. I'm not exactly sure what to replace so I thought I'd ask. I figure someone here might have already experienced the same thing and had some advice. Any info is good.
Thanks,
-Chris

Compression rods (with aftermarket polyurethane bushings), new polyurethane front lower control arms bushings, new shocks on all 4 corners, new adjustable front upper control arms (SPC, SPL, kinetix or eibach), new rear camber arms (SPC, SPL or eibach) and SPC eccentric toe bolts, new front steering knuckle ball joints. Wanna take it to the next level; get new adjustable end links (whiteline) and sway bars (eibach, Hotchkiss, motordyne)

To really restore it to like-new ride, I would do:
- new shocks
- new lower control arm and upper control arm bushings (Whiteline are best)
- new compression rod bushings (not so sure I would go poly on these)
- new ball joints
Might also consider replacing the springs as at 150K, they may be a bit less effective than they were earlier in their life. Probably not a necessity, but might just make things that much better.

You guys sound like the f'n dealership ^ just throw parts at it!
Even with a high mileage ride like Chris has it may need everything in the suspension replaced but I'd want an independent brake/alignment shop to sort it out. We don't know what's been done in the past, throwing parts at it doesn't seem like a great
Bumpy ride Chris describes indicates the need for shocks, nothing else until it's been checked out by a trained suspension mechanic!

Obviously, my assumption was that nothing substantial has been done to the suspension to date. At 150K, I'm guessing that is likely the case if the ride is that poor. Of course, have it inspected first. That should go without saying!
