Replacing my tension pulleys today my brother noticed how bad my tires are. I know that my car is in dire need of shocks and struts so that was next on my to do list but i noticed this part in the picture thats circled in red and it looks like its popped open when it shouldn't be. I also circled where the metal is coming through on my tires. However i can't seem to find that black circular part online. Any help?

You need tires. Looks as if it's been out of alignment, and out of the tire shop for quite sometime now. Is it lowered? New tires would be a solid start IMO.

i know that the tires need to be replaced but id like to fix the alignment issues before replacing them. Its not lowered. It seems that once you fix something you find something else :/

The part that you circled is called "Lower Ball Joint"

Search on this forum which brand makes good ones, there is plenty info.

Also what may cause that wear is a compression rod bushing which wears out much faster than ball joint. Your ball joint is defiantly leaking and will cause uneven wear on the tire.

That's your ball joint and it's leaking grease. You can't buy the part directly from the dealer and they'll try to sell you the whole knuckle. They sell cheap replacements on eBay for like 30 bucks and you can press them out with a ball joint kit tool rented from any of the normal stores.

I bought two Deeza ball joints from RockAuto and did them myself.

I'd fix your suspension and alignment issues before buying new tires.

Pick up your phone and call em, Rockauto will answer all your questions! You shouldn't be driving anywhere with tires that look like those! You need to find an independent brake/alignment shop in your area to install the suspension parts and correct your alignment right after you buy new tires!

Venom i think i finally understand the problem cuz of your post lol. The ball joint holds grease I'm guessing and thats why the metal around it is so dark.

grease is leaking from that ball joint. When it dries out, if will fail. Def replace that sooner than later.

Also your tires...wow. Those are at the point of being unsafe to drive on. Hope you carry a good jack and lug wrench in your trunk and check to make sure your spare is good to go. You're at the point where those tires can fail at any point.
