The hub area finish has been holding up pretty good. The last time I checked, I didn't see any sign of rust.

Any noise issues?
the reason why they are cheaper on ebay because the e-line series is there older series. They only sell the carbon geomet series on their website. I do not know any specifics on what the differences between the two series are though.

Not true^^

The still sell the e-line series on the site, the line they don't is the Dacromet series. Still some random Dacromet sets are on their ebay store, at least for my GTO. Didn't check for the G's.

My name is Kevin and I'm one of the sales reps here at R1 and I handle most of the forums as well. Other than our website, we do also sell on third party e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and eBay. The reason why our prices tend to be cheaper on eBay and Amazon is to stay competitive with all the other companies that offer aftermarket brake products too. However, you guys do get a special forum pricing on our products and you can get this my emailing me at Kevin@r1concepts.com and I'll do my best to help you out.

Thanks Kevin, is the Dacromet line still available (for my 06 GTO) or is it being phased out? I found front rotors on the ebay store but not the rears. Thanks for being here, as I said earlier in this thread I love telling people about your products. IMHO they're the best value for the money in brakes and I have used them for years.

We do have those GTO rotors available in our Carbon Geomet rotors which is what I believe you're talking about. These are actually these listed on eBay as well for the GTO. Feel free to PM or email me and I'll get you those prices with your forum discount.

Nope I'm talking about the carbon Dacromet line, here's a link from your store: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-R1-Ca...YAAOSw42dZMOZ7

I would buy these in a minute but I can't find the rears to match and I definitely don't want mismatched brakes. Thanks for your help and what you all do for the forums.

These are actually the same rotor as I was talking about. The ones on eBay are just a pictured version of how they look like once you brake on the rotors since it will wear off. The coating is actually a Geomet coating instead of a Dacromat coating. It's an error on the listing that we would need to fix.

I know the thread is old, but that's the point of my post! Hoping OP is still a member and can report as to how the hub finish held up. Any rust? I really, really, really hate the OEM rusty hubs. I'm about to do the Brembo swap into my 2006 and need to decide on the rotors. Here's hoping!

I have R1 e-line drilled/slotted that were new last summer, they look fine no rust but I didn't drive in any snow this year either.

I'd be curious how they hold up over a few years as well.
