Spc shim kit problem

I just put air ride on my car.. I have full spc camber kit.. My front was off so I put the shim kit in.. I dont have any lights on but my abs kicks in when im almost at a complete stop.. The one side sensor is reading good but the tech said the driver side isnt reading good and he tried everything to shim it.. My buddy said if the sensor was bad that the lights would be on.. What the hell do I do now? I just want my **** to work right..

Tons of people here have had your issue which is one reason I went with the SPL even though they are expensive. If your ABS sensor is fine the issue is creating the proper air gap down there for the sensor to be comfortable. You or your mechanic wlll have to play with the adjustment of the sensor to get it right which is a total pain in the azz. I have a friend that junked his SPC kit after he and I and 3 different shops couldn't get the damn thing working.

Good luck!!

Because of their construction with the adjustable heim joints I've gotten +3 degrees positive and dropped 3" over stock I am in factory spec on camber and toe up front. Rear also but I have Stillen camber arms and SPC toe bolts back there. There's more positive adjustment available with the SPL's but ATM I don't need to use it.

Do you know off hand what the spc gives you without the shims in? I had to have the shims to get in spec

No but I remember it wasn't enough for me. That and the intermittent issue you are having convinced me to spend a little more on the SPL's, they're bulletproof and so simple.

I've had no problems with the spc it's only the shim kit.. If the spl wouldnt get me in spec I'd just keep the spc.. I'm taking it to a shop Tuesday that is more familiar with this kit so hopefully it gets fixed

Trust me the SPL's will get you whatever you need, you just need to know how to get the most out of them. If you go that route eventually feel free to shoot me any questions you might have. Good luck at the shop, hopefully they can fix you up.
