Seems odd to post this here but as I have learned the speedometer is somehow tied into the ABS or or functioning off of the abs pump. So ,can someone please explain exactly how this works and what direction I should take to fix. Bought an ABS Pump to install but its just not clicking.

No, the speedometer needle moving is directly related to the wheel speed sensor data being sent to CAN and interpreted by the combination meter which controls the stepper motor for that needle. VDC also uses the CAN data for it's own calculations to determine wheel slip and actuate the ABS motor.

 

Some OBD2 readers can read wheel speed sensor data to verify they are working, if the signal is sent then it's probably the combination meter failed.

 

Sent it to the Stealership and was told they couldn't go any further due to the abs pump not working and needing another 5hrs to diagnose the problem. They did however give me the electrical print out

 

Are you talking front or rear speed sensors ? 06 Coupe

 

There's 2 mounted on the rear differential, look for the pickup ring right at the axle shafts on the diff.

 

Did you OBD2 scan realtime data for vehicle speed?

 

Also trying to figure out which fuse controls obd2 port
