Should I be worried?

I was under the car changing the oil when I noticed the tie rod ends looking so-so. What do you guys think? Urgent replacement? Or do they have more life in them?

Tie rod end comes off the steering rack. You are looking at a lower ball joint. It's DONE. Swap it out when you have time I've see worse.

I'd be more concerned with the cracking tires than the ball joints but yeah, they both need to be replaced.

Good eyes Blue, yes replacing those tires are definitely the #1 priority for you OP. Check the DOT stamp and find out what year they were made, they might be very old. Look for a 4 digit number inside a large oval, first two digits are the week of the year it was manufactured, last two digits are the year.

For example

2715 would be
27'th week
of 2015

However old those tires are, they're absolutely destroyed! Alex you might as well redo your whole front suspension while you're in there if you're planning to keep the car, that way you won't have to go back in there 10 times over the next 6 months troubleshooting and trying to fix clunks and noises one by one. There's threads going over everything you need and what tends to fail first.
