Hi everyone. Doing my first rotor and brake change. The fronts went off without a hitch. However, I pretty well chewed up the head of the bottom 19MM mounting bolt for the caliper bracket.
I went to autozone for a replacement, and this is what they had. I am unsure if it is the proper bolt grade. It is M12-1.25X35 Class 8.8 B-75. This is what the package says.
Just clean up the head of the existing bolt with as file and stop using crappy 12 point sockets A 6 point socket will grab that just fine. Torque everything to spec, I think that bolt is 32 ft/lbs.
