Ebrake doesnt work

My ebrake doesnt work and i looked at the pad and it was only like 1.5 mm.i tried to adjust it so the shoes would go further out but the rotor wouldnt go back on with it adjusted all the way out and still didnt work when i had it just enough for the rotor to fit. I tightened the ebrake bot all the way and still not good enough. Does anyone know of a video of how to replace the shoes. Im not sure how to get the springs out or if you even take the springs out first or what order to disassemble

Say brother, remember searching on your own for answers to questions like this is a forum rule. I noticed you've started a lot of threads on different topics and it doesn't seem you've tried to get answers on your own. Our search tool here isn't the best but Google is a godsend for help. That being said this should be a big help, Eugene has been a member here for a long time and he's incredibly helpful.

I did my ebrake hardware over the summer it wasn't too difficult. I think the replacement set was like 20 bucks and you just need a flathead and some pliers. I recommend taking a pic first or just doing it one side at a time. Also, grab some sandpaper and brake lube (silicone paste is best). You need to put some on the "dimples" where the shoes rest and then I also put some inside the new adjusters. I think they can also go on either way, so make sure you take notice if they go up or down prior to removing them.

04 G35 Sedan performance package. 70k Eibach springs and sway bars. 19 inch wheels. Plenum spacer.
As stated above replace the old hardware when doing drum brake shoes. Very inexpensive.
