Grind Noise After New Rotors & Pads Installed
Grind Noise After New Rotors & Pads Installed
There is an extreme grinding noise on both fronts of my 2005 G35x after installing new pads and rotors in the front. The installation process was done up to par, but no brake lube was used. The sound is coming from the pads rubbing against the rotor it seems like. Does anyone have any genuine input? Could the pads be on backwards lol? Lmk. IT IS NOT THE DUST SHEILD OR CALIPER CLIPS!
I just installed new Hexautoparts Brakes Rotors. It's same thing happened to my 02 g35.
I am not sure why, and some posts said drilled slotted rotors lead to some grinding noise to some extent. It's inevitable.
It's that true?
